Tosh has penned a two-and-a-half year contract with The Dons after a six-month hiatus from the SPL.
The 29-year-old joined Falkirk from Livingston last summer and has now made the £30,000 switch to Pittodrie.
"I was disappointed to leave the SPL in the summer but Falkirk was the right move," said Tosh.
"It looks like it has been a move back to take two forward. No disrespect to Livingston but Aberdeen are potentially the third biggest club in Scotland."
But Dons manager Steve Paterson is unlikely to be successful in his attempts to be reunited with Caley hot shot Wyness.
The First Division outfit have spoken to The Dons regarding the 25-year-old - who is out of contract in the summer - but insist they are in no hurry to sell the prolific marksman.
"We haven't received a formal offer for Dennis and while I did have discussions with Aberdeen, people seem to think we are a lot further on than we are," said Caley director of football Graeme Bennett.
"There are other clubs interested but we are still in discussions with him and want to keep him beyond the summer."
