Motherwell and Aberdeen both picked up maximum points on Saturday.
Motherwell grabbed a 90th minute winner to see off Livingston at Fir Park and keep alive their hopes of a top-six finish.
Brian McLean's last-gasp effort was enough to earn 'Well all three points after Noel Whelan had cancelled out Jim Hamilton's opener.
Former Livi star Hamilton headed in a Phil O'Donnell cross but Whelan, on as a substitute, flicked home Steve Hislop's knock-back.
Defender McLean, on loan from Rangers, turned in the area to smash home a deserved late winner.
Aberdeen won 1-0 at Inverness Caley Thistle courtesy of Steve Lovell's goal seven minutes from the end.
Lovell capitalised on a mix-up between Mark Brown and Grant Munro to loft in a goal that takes The Dons two points above the Highlanders.
Dunfermline and Falkirk shared the spoils with Mark Burchill's second half effort levelling Jack Ross's 21st minute goal. Both sides wanted the three points to try and ensure their safety in the SPL.
The point apiece at least assists their bids after Kenny Milne twice hit the woodwork and Burchill came close to a deflected winner late on.
