The 23-year-old striker has been called up for Northern Ireland's upcoming friendlies against Uruguay and Chile, and is looking to make a good impression against two teams who will feature at the World Cup finals.
Several Scottish Premiership sides and a number of English outfits are believed to be chasing the former Cardiff City striker, who has been with Aberdeen since 2010 and made over 100 appearances.
"It's a shame to be leaving Aberdeen, as I have really enjoyed my time at the club, but my focus is now on performing for Northern Ireland, and testing myself against some of the world's best players," Magennis told Sky Sports.
"I'm looking forward to the next stage of my career, so it will be an exciting summer."
His agent Dan Wood of The Endgame Group added to Sky Sports: "We have had a number of enquiries about Josh, and it is important he goes to the right club this summer.
"He would be a big asset to most teams, as there are not many strikers with Josh's pace and power."
Magennis finished the season on loan at St Mirren.
