Mo Salah exclusive interview

Mohamed Salah sat down with Jamie Carragher in the Sky Sports Match Zone and explained why he is desperate to score against Manchester United on Saturday.

"But we know we play against Manchester [United] and De Gea. He is a great goalkeeper and this is the only team I did not score against in the top six this season, so I will try. I try to look for a goal in any game I play. I thought already about that and I'm very excited to play in that game because this is the only team in the top six I didn't score against. Only Manchester [United]!"

Rivals head-to-head in stats

Man Utd v Liverpool: The past four fixtures between England's two most successful teams have ended in a draw, so a victory for either side is certainly overdue. That run of stalemates means the clubs are neck-in-neck in this fixture, with neither side currently reigning over the other.

MAN UTD

Aston Villa v Wolves: Aston Villa's dominance over Wolves has plummeted over the last seven years, having claimed only one victory from six meetings since 2011.

VILLA

Rangers v Celtic: Rangers last beat Celtic in a league contest six years ago and have only defeated their Glasgow rivals once in the 11 games since - winning a penalty shootout in the Scottish Cup in 2016.

RANGERS

Nottingham Forest v Derby: Derby have only lost three of their last 13 meetings with Nottingham Forest and have enjoyed greater success in the fixture for nearly 60 years.

FOREST

Expert analysis

Gary Neville on Man Utd v Liverpool: "I always fancy United at home. With Liverpool you have to get through that first half an hour, especially at Anfield, where they are a completely different proposition. I've always thought that for Liverpool away from home they struggled with the size of the pitch, despite them not being hugely different on paper. It's a lot harder for United to play at Anfield and a lot harder for Liverpool to play at Old Trafford, so I fancy United to win."

We're putting two old foes up against each other to see who knows more about previous Liverpool & Manchester United matches; Gary Neville or Jamie Carragher?

David Prutton on Aston Villa v Wolves: "Wolves answered some of their critics with a convincing win at Leeds on Wednesday night but a trip to Villa Park is a totally different proposition for them. Aston Villa are in great form at the moment and they will be hoping to close the gap on the league leaders with victory here and boost their own hopes of automatic promotion. I'm backing an entertaining draw."

Andy Walker on Rangers v Celtic: "I'm so looking forward to it but honestly, it could go either way. I haven't been able to say that in a number of years. I wouldn't be surprised to see Rangers, with the momentum they've got, get a victory. But equally, you have to respect Celtic as the champions. They've come up against a number of challenges in the last few years and they've come up with the answers every time. For the first time in a number of years, it could go either way."

David Prutton on Forest v Derby: "Derby just cannot buy a win at the moment. They were favourites behind Wolves for automatic promotion a couple of weeks ago but now they are at risk of slipping out of the play-offs entirely. Nottingham Forest would love to strike a blow to their rivals' top-six chances, there's no doubt about that. I cannot split them at the moment, and I think it will be a draw."
