Steven Naismith will return to Hearts on a season-long loan deal from Norwich, according to Sky sources.

The 31-year-old spent the second half of the last campaign on loan at Tynecastle, scoring four goals in 16 appearances.

Naismith helped Hearts to a sixth-place finish in the Scottish Premier League, and also scored the winner in the Edinburgh derby against Hibernian in May.

He is set to become Hearts' 11th signing of the summer as Craig Levein goes through the process of overhauling his squad.

Naismith joined Championship side Norwich in January 2016.
