Hearts progress to the quarter finals after a 3-1 success on their travels to Kilmarnock.Hearts progress to the quarter finals of the Tennent's Scottish Cup with a swagger after a convincing 3-1 win over a miserable Kilmarnock at Rugby Park.
John Robertson's travellers got off to a perfect start when after just five minutes they raced into a lead courtesy of a Lee Wallace strike - his first for the club.
The promising 17-year-old surged from his own half, played a one-two with Dennis Wyness, before slamming a drive past Alan Combe from 12 yards.
On 13 minutes, Hearts took a two goal advantage when on-loan striker Lee Miller, who is in a rich vein of form, arched a far post header home in some style.
After the break and Deividas Cesnauskis (pictured), a Lithuanian international, netted a debut strike after a bright Hearts move.
Cesnauskis was introduced from the bench and made an immediate impression when after collecting a pass from compatriot Saulius Mikoliunas, he finishing from eight yards for Hearts' third of the evening.
The Edinbrough outfit now entertain Livingston at home in the next round, with Kilmarnock's consolation coming from a Kris Boyd penalty after Wallace needlessly felled Allan Johnston.
