Hearts are understood to be on the verge of signing defender Michael Lamey.Hearts boss George Burley is understood to be on the verge of capturing Dutch defender Michael Lamey.
Burley has been busy on the transfer front, as he bids to bolster his squad ahead of the new SPL season on July 30.
He has had a number of trialists at Tynecastle, as he attempts to remould the squad he inherited after taking the reins last month.
The Edinburgh-based outfit are being tipped to clinch deals for Steve Lomas and Czech goalkeeper David Bicik in the near future and PSV stopper Lamey also looks poised to head to Scotland.
The 25-year-old has been unable to cement a first team berth at the Philips Stadion and PSV are willing to let him move on.
The two clubs are understood to have agreed a fee for the transfer, but the player has yet to negotiate personal terms.
A probable three-year deal has been mooted, but Lamey will have the final say over the proposed move to the SPL.
