Hearts defender Jamie McAllister has signed a new contract.Hearts defender Jamie McAllister has signed a new contract that binds him to Tynecastle until 2008.
McAllister has been used predominately from the bench this season but has nevertheless impressed Graham Rix with his application when needed.
The 27-year-old arrived at Hearts from Livingston in June 2004 and has since gone on to make 31 league starts for the SPL outfit.
Meanwhile, Bruno Basto has returned to Feyenoord having had a disappointing trial spell at Hearts cut short by injury.
The well travelled left back has been informed by his coach Erwin Koeman that he can leave Feyenoord, having spent much of this season kicking his heels in the club's second string.
However, a move to Scotland has been put on the back burner, with neither party yet to indicate how serious the injury actually is.
