Houston feels midfielder may want a fresh challenge

Dundee United manager Peter Houston believes Morgaro Gomis is likely to move on at the end of the season. Gomis' contract at Tannadice expires in the summer and the midfielder has yet to agree an extension after holding talks with the club. The Frenchman has made over 150 appearances for United since joining from Cowdenbeath in 2007 and Houston feels Gomis is ready for a new challenge. "We last spoke to Morgaro at Christmas time," said Houston in the Daily Record. "Personally I think he's maybe looking to move to pastures new although that's still to be 100 per cent decided. "Morgaro has been here for a few years and enjoyed it. But if that's what he wants to do then we'll see although he's not indicated that to me."
