St Johnstone moved up to second in the Scottish Premiership after coming from behind to beat Hamilton 2-1 on Saturday.

Greg Docherty gave Hamilton a deserved lead in the 24th minute but second-half goals from Steven MacLean and Murray Davidson turned things around after the break and gave the hosts a 2-1 success, with the visitors seeing Darian MacKinnon sent off in injury-time for a last-man foul on Paul Paton.

Goals from Tom Rogic and Leigh Griffiths helped Celtic to a 2-0 victory in the first Old Firm derby of the season against Rangers.

Paul Hanlon's early goal earned Hibernian full points at Ross County as Neil Lennon's men moved above Rangers into fourth, the defender scoring from John McGinn's corner in the 13th minute.

Kilmarnock are still looking for their first league win of the season after captain Gordon Greer atoned for his early blunder by rescuing a point against Dundee.

Faissal El Bakhtaoui netted in the fourth minute after Greer had gifted possession to the visitors, but the 36-year-old defender secured a 1-1 draw when he fired home after a 64th-minute corner.
