Motherwell hit five past Kilmarnock, as St Mirren and Inverness both recorded wins.
Kilmarnock were left stunned after bottom-of-the-table Motherwell won 5-0 at Fir Park.
Motherwell gained the early advantage, after Richie Foran fired them ahead on 15 minutes to bag his fifth goal of the season..
Two goals in three minutes saw Kilmarnock in need of an impressive comeback, as Mark Reynolds and Brian Kerr both found the net for the first time this season.
Kilmarnock were broken twice in five minutes in the second half by Scott McDonald [pictured], who helped Motherwell on their way to their first home win of the season.
At The Tulloch Caledonian Stadium, Inverness stole all three points in a 1-0 victory against Dunfermline as Ross Tokely netted in the 90th minute, as his drive took a deflection past Dorus De Vries in goal.
Dunfermline are left just one point ahead of Motherwell, who stay bottom despite their 5-0 victory.
A first-half goal from David van Zanten was enough to seal victory for St Mirren over Hibernian in a 1-0 win at St Mirren Park.
St Mirren moved up into third place, six points behind leaders Celtic, ending a run of three straight defeats.
