Shiels hoping for 10-year stay at Rugby Park
Kilmarnock boss Kenny Shiels is keen to sort out extended contracts for the club's League Cup winners - including a lengthy deal of his own.
Shiels led Killie to a remarkable 1-0 win over Celtic at Hampden Park last month to bring a trophy to Rugby Park for the first time in 15 years.
And the 55-year-old wants to tie up contract extensions for defenders James Fowler, Garry Hay and Manuel Pascali as well as himself.
Shiels told www.kicktalk.co.uk: "I have to prioritise because I'm looking at Fowler, Hay and Pascali, because I want to get them tied up - and I want to get myself tied up.
"I want to, because I really love the place and I want to be here. Hopefully the chairman sees that and can say to me 'yes, I'll give you a 10-year contract."
