Miller not rushing recovery

Carlisle striker Lee Miller is not rushing his recovery from a groin injury which kept him out for the end of last season.

Miller, who was the Cumbrians' leading scorer in the last campaign with 15 goals, is already off the mark in pre-season with a strike against non-league Kendal. "Things are going really well," he told the club's official website. "My rehab programme seems to have worked, the groin feels fine and I've joined in with most of the sessions so far. I'm feeling good after that and it's just nice to be back and in amongst the lads with everything that goes along with it. "It was nice to get the goal at Kendal, because it's always good to score, but first and foremost pre-season has to be about getting fit. "You just take each step as it comes."
