Abbott moves for Terriers forward

Sky Sports understands Huddersfield forward Kallum Higginbotham is poised to join Carlisle on loan. Carlisle boss Greg Abbott has moved to take Higginbotham on a one-month deal as he looks to bolster his attacking options at Brunton Park. Higginbotham is well down the pecking order at Huddersfield and has yet to feature for the Terriers this season. Huddersfield boss Simon Grayson is willing to let the 23-year-old go out on loan so that he can get some regular first team football under his belt. Higginbotham, who joined Huddersfield from Falkirk last January, had a spell on loan at Barnsley last season and the Terriers believe the former Rochdale man would be best served with another stint out on loan at Carlisle.
