Brewster (pictured) is relishing a return to Scottish football after a successful spell with Greek side Ionikos, where he became the top scorer in the Greek side's history.
He was handed a trial by Hibee's boss Alex McLeish, and he can't wait for the season to start and prove that McLeish was right to give him a contract at the age of 34.
"I had a couple of other offers. But once I heard of Hibs' interest, I knew I had to give it a go," he said.
"The lifestyle was great in Greece, but in Scotland there is a real buzz and a passion about the game and I'm looking forward to playing here again."
Former Blackpool and Carlisle keeper Caig was also on trial with the club and also did enough to earn a full time deal.
The 27-year-old spent much of last season in The Addicks' reserve side and will add competition for number one Nick Colgan.
