Hibernian have rewarded young defender Chris Hogg with a four-year contract extension.Hogg has made a major impression on manager Tony Mowbray since joining the club from Ipswich Town in January.
The 20-year-old was on a short-term arrangement but is now tied to Easter Road until 2009.
Mowbray feels Hogg fully merits his contract and believes the youngster has a bright future with the Edinburgh club.
"Chris is a model professional and deserves his new deal," said Mowbray.
"He has the potential to be a future Hibs captain."
