Rob Jones has assured fans that the unrest at Hibernian will be resolved.
Rob Jones has assured Hibernian fans that the dressing room unrest at Easter Road will be resolved.
Reports of a player revolt surfaced last week, with players allegedly voicing their concerns over Collins to chairman Rod Petrie.
However, Hibs captain Jones insists the squad is united again and has promised there will be no more turmoil.
Jones is now focusing on reaching the Tennent's Scottish Cup final after Sunday's semi-final with Dunfermline finished goalless.
"This will be cleared up - I guarantee that to every supporter," he told the Daily record.
"I'll make it my priority to ensure something like this never happens again.
"You might not believe me but the dressing room was more unified than it ever has been before the game and it showed on the pitch against Dunfermline.
"We gave the gaffer everything he wanted - except the winning goal.
"We're all pulling in the same direction, we all want the same things and that showed. If that's not unified I don't know what is.
"Things like this should never happen at a club such as Hibs and I guarantee as long as I'm at the football club things like this will never happen again."
