Scottish Championship round-up: Hibs and Raith notch third wins

Hibernian continued their 100 per cent start to the Scottish Championship season with a 2-0 victory over St Mirren at the Paisley Stadium.

Jason Cummings scored a brace, converting David Gray's cross for his first before capitalising on a mix-up in the Buddies' defence for his second of the game.

New signings Andrew Shinnie and Brian Graham both came off the bench to make their debuts for Hibs, who have three wins from three games.

Dundee United condemned Ayr United to their third straight loss after winning 3-0 at Tannadice.

Simon Murray and Jamie Robson netted for the home side in the first half before Willo Flood rounded off a comfortable victory in the second period.

It was United's first victory of the season while Ayr remain bottom of the table.

Raith Rovers are joint top of the table with Hibs after beating Dunfermline 2-0 at Stark's Park for their third straight win.

Stephen Dobbie scored both goals as Queen of the South defeated Falkirk 2-0 at Palmerston Park.

The striker grabbed the opener with a first time strike from 20 yards before curling the ball into the net for his second.

Greenock Morton came from behind to draw 1-1 with Dumbarton at Cappielow Park.

The visitors took the lead when goalkeeper Derek Gaston failed to properly punch clear Ryan Stevenson's cross with the ball spinning into the net.

Greenock equalised when Kudus Oyenuga diverted Michael Tidser's cross into the net.

The result was Morton's third straight 1-1 draw in the league.
