Dundee United trio unveiled

Dundee United have unveiled Steven Robb, Craig Conway and Noel Hunt at Tannadice.

Dundee United have unveiled summer signings - wingers Steven Robb, Craig Conway and striker Noel Hunt at Tannadice.

Twenty-four-year-old Robb has signed a two-year deal at the club after moving from neighbours Dundee.

The player has been a long-term target of boss Craig Brewster's because of his tremendous potential.

"I am delighted to have finally signed Steven," Brewster admitted. "He is the type of player we need to encourage competition throughout the team.

"His favoured position is in a left sided attacking wide role, but he can also play on the right if required. I think he has the right attitude to learn and to succeed with Dundee United."

Conway, 21, however was Brewster's first signing of the summer, though a tribunal is still to adjudicate on the compensation required for his former club Ayr United.

Both he and former Dunfermline Athletic frontman Noel Hunt, 23, have signed three-year deals at the club.

Brewster played with Hunt in his time at The Pars, and believes he is another quality addition to the squad.

"He is obviously a player I know very well and I kept tabs on him last season when his form progressed working alongside Mark Burchill," the boss explained.

"He works hard, has pace, is good in the air and I believe he can further improve as a player at Tannadice."

With discussions ongoing for several other potential signings, Brewster's revolution at United looks set to unfold well into the summer.
