Inverness have rejected a new bid from Dundee United for David Proctor.
Inverness Caledonian Thistle have rejected a new bid from Dundee United for David Proctor.
Terrors boss Craig Brewster has spent the summer trying to persuade his former club to sell Proctor, along with Darren Dods and Ian Black.
Caley Thistle have so far stood firm and have revealed that a renewed offer from their SPL rivals has been rebuffed.
But director of football Graeme Bennett admits Inverness are now willing to sell Proctor, once their valuation has been matched.
"United came back with another offer and we have rejected it," said Bennett.
"At the moment we are not in agreement, but there is not a big difference between what we want and what they are offering us.
"We are willing to let David move if there is a sensible fee involved."
Proctor has spent the past three seasons with Inverness, after joining from Hibernian, but could soon be discussing a switch to Tannadice.
