Under-12s will be given free admission to next month's IRN-BRU Cup final between Dumbarton and Inverness Caledonian Thistle at McDiarmid Park in Perth.

The SPFL is looking to boost attendance with the decision while adult tickets are priced at £15, over 65s and students paying £10 and juvenile tickets priced at £5.

SPFL chief executive Neil Doncaster said: "We are delighted to announce free admission for U12s for the IRN-BRU Cup Final and hope the attractive pricing structure helps encourage as many fans as possible from both clubs to attend what should be a fantastic occasion at McDiarmid Park."

This will be the 10th time McDiarmid Park has been chosen to host the Scottish Challenge Cup final.
