Blackpool winger will debut for Levein's side in USA friendly

Matt Phillips will make his Scotland debut against the United States this weekend after being named in Craig Levein's starting line-up. The 21-year-old Blackpool winger represented England at age-group level but has switched his allegiance north of the border in order to secure senior honours. Scotland boss Levein also welcomes back two players who have not featured since 2010 in the form of Hearts defender Andy Webster and Wigan's Shaun Maloney. Maloney has struggled for fitness in recent times but has burst back onto the scene with a starring role in the Latics' Premier League survival bid. Webster makes his first appearance since playing in a 1-0 win over the Czech Republic in March 2010 - Levein's first game in charge. The match takes place at EverBank Field in Florida with kick-off scheduled for 01:00 BST on Sunday. Scotland: McGregor, Bardsley, Caldwell, Webster, Mulgrew, Brown, McArthur, Bannan, Phillips, Miller, Maloney.
