Adam Hammill wants to finish his loan spell with Dunfermline on a high.
Dunfermline winger Adam Hammill wants to finish his loan spell with the club on a high come the end of the season.
Hammill is on loan at East End Park from Liverpool, but before heading home wants to win the Scottish Cup and keep The Pars in the SPL.
Dunfermline face Hibernian in the Tennent's Scottish Cup semi-final on Sunday, and are currently bottom of the league with five games remaining.
"I'm here until the end of the season and then I have two years left at Liverpool," Hammill said.
"So winning the Scottish Cup and keeping Dunfermline in the SPL would be the perfect way to leave.
"I've never been to Hampden before so it will be magical.
"It will be a great achievement for me, coming from youth football last year to playing in a Scottish Cup semi-final."
Meanwhile, the England Under 19 international has called on more young players to develop their talents in Scotland.
Hammill added: "I would recommend players to come up to Scotland.
"The SPL doesn't get the credit for having talented players but there is a lot of talent up here.
"People say to me, 'You're only doing it in Scotland', but it's harder than people think.
"I've played with good players and played against some great players.
"Playing at big Stadiums like Celtic Park with 60,000 people in it has been a big help and it has improved my game a lot."
