Hatem Ben Arfa has denied claims he has signed for Barcelona and admits he could stay at Nice beyond the summer.

Ben Arfa, who endured a turbulent five-year spell in England at Newcastle and Hull, has rekindled his career at Nice, scoring 17 goals in 35 appearances for the Ligue 1 club this term.

Last week, Sky Sports' Spanish football expert Guillem Balague revealed Barca had opted against signing the 29-year-old.

And the France international has been similarly dismissive when quizzed about the muted move to the Nou Camp.

"I have not signed for Barcelona," Ben Arfa told Eurosport. "There is a lot of noise, but I would prefer not to talk about my future.

"The most important thing is the end of the season. Whether or not we qualify for the Champions League, my future is not decided.
