Rennes defender Cyril Jeunechamp is poised for a switch to Nice, according to sporting director Roger Ricort.
The 31-year-old's current deal is set to expire at the end of the season, but will be forced to negotiate with Rennes for the cancellation of his contract, in order to allow him to move outside of the transfer window.
Ricort said: "Talks are improving well. We have found an agreement with the player."
Jeunechamp has made eight appearances for Rennes this season, having been at the club since 2005, but now appears set to move on.
