Lyon midfielder wants out
Kim Kallstrom has admitted that he would welcome a move to the Primera Liga this summer.
The Swedish international is currently on the books of French champions Lyon, but after two years at Stade Gerland has revealed that a new challenge would be appealing.
Spanish giants Sevilla are believed to have already expressed an interest in securing his services and the midfielder has hinted that a switch to Andalucia would be an attractive proposition.
"We will see what happens in the coming days," Kallstrom told
L'Equipe.
"But Sevilla are a great club and La Liga is the best league in the world, so it's a possibility.
"It doesn't depend on me though. Lyon must agree to the deal also."
Interest
Should Kallstrom end up at Sevilla during the close season he may well be joined by Lyon team-mate Sebastien Squillaci, as Manolo Jimenez is thought to be weighing up a 6million euros (£4.7m) swoop for the defender.
Lyon will have expected interest in a number of their top stars this summer but are in danger of having to fend off a mass exodus as Sidney Govou is another who could be on his way.
The France international striker is understood to have attracted interest from the Premier League and Ligue 1, with his agent Fred Guerra refusing to quash the speculation when asked what the future may hold for his client.
"So far we prefer not to reveal our decision as to whether we will be continuing our adventure at Lyon or leaving," he said.
