Caen striker Steve Savidan has reportedly been attracting the attention of Atletico Madrid.

Striker could be on move just months after signing for Caen

Caen striker Steve Savidan has reportedly been attracting the attention of Atletico Madrid. The 30-year-old only joined Caen in the summer from Valenciennes for 5million euros and the striker has caught the eye with six goals in 13 appearances this season. Savidan would be a welcome addition as he is eligible to represent Atletico in the UEFA Champions League and this has also attracted the attention of fellow Ligue 1 side Marseille. Despite having only recently joined the club, Savidan admitted that he would be tempted by a move to a bigger team.

Ambition

He said: "Joining a big club? I will finally achieve it. I am just like a 20-year-old kid, I have objectives. "Maybe it is pretentious, but I don't fear anything and notably joining a big club. I still have a margin for improvement." When asked whether he might move to Marseille, Savidan gave this response. He added: "L'OM? It is not the right moment."
