Bordeaux defender just needs to complete medical
Bordeaux defender Souleymane Diawara is on the brink of moving to Ligue 1 rivals Marseille.
The Senegal international has established himself as a key member of the Bordeaux side since joining from Charlton two years ago.
But he recently revealed a desire to link up with Marseille, citing his disappointment at Bordeaux's offer of a new contract.
A transfer is now set to go ahead after Marseille struck a deal to bring him in for a fee believed to be in the region of €6million (£5.1m)
"There is an agreement in principle but the move is still pending medical tests. The player will then sign for four years," Marseille said on their official website.
