The 21-year-old from the Ivory Coast was one of the major reasons behind his club's promotion to Le Championnat last term, as he finished top scorer with 15 goals.
Indeed, along with former Nottingham Forest forward Jean-Claude Darcheville, the deadly duo contributed 26 goals to the league campaign for Lorient.
Yet the former Valence and Rennes hit-man seems determined to prove his worth away from Morbihan, with a switch to East Anglia on the cards.
If the trial period at Carrow Road goes ahead, Kroupi will be expected to show Nigel Worthington he is worthy of a permanent move, and his pedigree suggests this could well be the case.
