Marseille missed an opportunity to keep pace with the new leaders after going down to a 3-0 defeat at Lille.

Sochaux missed an opportunity to go third after a 1-0 away defeat at Le Havre. Olivier Fauconnier scored the winner four minutes after half-time.
Lens move up two places to sixth with a 2-0 victory at Montpellier, thanks to goals by Daniel Moreira in the first half and John Utaka with two minutes remaining.
Strasbourg also moved up to two places to seventh with a 2-1 victory at home to Troyes.
Fabrice Ehret put the home side in front before Nicolas Gousse equalised for Troyes nine minutes later in the first half.
However, Strasbourg would take the points as Valerien Ismael scored the winner four minutes after the break.
Lyon moved to eighth after a 1-0 away victory at Rennes with Sidney Govou scoring the only goal of the match four minutes after half-time.
Ajaccio moved out of trouble at the bottom of the table with a 1-0 home win over Nantes.
Bruno Rodriguez scored the decisive goal with eight minutes remaining to delight the Stade Francois-Coty crowd and hand the Corsican club three valuable points.
