Nice cling on to top spot

The league leaders battled in vain for a winning goal which would have cemented their position at the top, particularly with several of their rivals losing.
However, relegation threatened Rennes were in no mood to capitulate and clung on for a precious point.
Lyon fluffed the chance to usurp Nice at the head of affairs as they lost 2-1 in Lille.
Vladimir Mantchev put Lille ahead on 68 minutes and the lead was doubled on 73 minutes by Christoph Landrin. Frederic Nee bagged an injury-time consolation for Lyon.
Marseille remain firmly in the hunt for Le Championnat after a gritty 1-0 success over title rivals Lens.
The South Coast club were indebted to Salomon Olembe's (pictured) 11th minute strike to claim the spoils at Stade Velodrome.
Olembe latched onto Manuel Dos Santos's pass and finished superbly to leave Marseille in third place.
Sochaux crashed to a 2-0 defeat at Guingamp, a result which sees their opponents leapfrog them in the table. An early second half strike from Didier Drogba allied to an own goal by Maxence Flachez settled the contest.
Auxerre bounced back to form with a narrow victory at Le Havre courtesy of Teemu Tainio's match-winner on the hour mark.
Bordeaux were also slender winners with Pauleta's 35th minute effort proving the difference at home to Ajaccio.
Bastia produced a fine comeback at Montpellier after trailing to a brace of Eric Guei goals within the first 15 minutes.
Mickael Essien pulled one back for the visitors and Cedric Uras pinched a point with less than ten minutes remaining.
Struggling Troyes boosted their survival hopes by beating Sedan 2-0 in the local derby.
A 29th minute goal from Frederic Adam sent Troyes on their way to three points and the win was wrapped up by David Hamed on 70 minutes.
