The club are the solitary side in France to have opened the new campaign with three straight wins and were never in danger against their opponents.
Vladimir Mantchev put Lille ahead on 38 minutes and he doubled the advantage on 65 minutes before Philippe Brunel added his name to the scoresheet five minutes later.
Nice were forced to come from behind to preserve their unbeaten run after Fernando D'Amico put Le Mans ahead. Everson equalised just before half-time for the visitors.
Champions Lyon were comfortable winners at Montpellier, with first-half goals from captain Claudio Cacapa and Eric Carriere settling the issue.
Monaco surged up the table after a 2-0 win on home soil against Bastia. A quick-fire salvo from Emmanuel Adebayor and Akis Zikos before the break secured the points for the Principality club.
Ajaccio conceded their first goals of the season as they suffered a 3-1 defeat at home to Nantes.
Frederic Da Rocha set Nantes on their way on 24 minutes and goals either side of the interval from Sylvain Armand and Gregory Pujol put the visitors in the driving seat before Mamadou Bagayoko bagged a late consolation.
Auxerre picked up their first points of the season as they secured a battling 3-2 victory over Strasbourg.
After losing their opening two games to Nice and Marseille, Auxerre were desperate for a fillip and boosted their confidence with the nail-biting win.
Kanga Akale and Bonaventure Kalou put Auxerre in control of the contest before Danijel Ljuboja pulled one back before the break.
That was how it remained for much of the second half until Lionel Mathis (pictured) crucially scored for the hosts on 86 minutes with Eric Mouloungui's goal 60 seconds later insufficient to preserve Strasbourg's unbeaten record.
Bordeaux and Paris Saint Germain also collected their first wins of the season with victories at Guingamp and Metz respectively.
Guingamp prop up the table without a point after losing to Bordeaux, who took an early lead through Deivid.
Nicolas Gousse netted the club's first goal of the campaign on 23 minutes but a brace from Jean-Claude Darcheville gave Les Girondins the points.
Jerome Leroy's 64th minute effort was sufficient to hand PSG the points at promoted Metz.
An 80th minute leveller from Alexander Frei ensured Rennes remain unbeaten after Sochaux had grabbed the advantage through Souleymane Diawara.
