Lyon's Eric Carriere has denied he is looking for a move in the New Year due to his lack of playing time at Stade Gerland.
Despite not figuring much for Paul Le Guen's side, the midfielder says he can not see himself leaving l'OL before his contract is up at the end of the season.
"Frankly, I can't see me leaving Lyon before the end of my contract, where I have always said I have fun," he said.
"Of course, I prepare myself to play and not to stay on the bench.
"But I am a professional, and I accept the coach's decisions."
The French international also denied that he had been contacted by Championnat rivals Paris Saint Germain, but was quick to remind interested clubs that he is a fee agent in the summer.
"I know people talked about Paris. But as of today, I haven't had contact with anyone," he added.
"Until the end of the season, I belong to Lyon. In those conditions, it seems out of the question to leave during the Mercato.
"However, I will be free in June."
Lyon had begun talks about a contract extension in the spring but no further talks have taken place since.
