Milan have denied that Real Madrid's unsettled striker Ronaldo will sign for the club.
Milan have denied the possibility that Real Madrid's unsettled striker Ronaldo will sign for the Rossoneri.
Despite Adriano Galliani's suggestion just last week that Milan could be tempted by a move for the Brazilian, the club's chief officer has now moved to dampen the speculation.
Galliani insists the club are not in the market for a forward with the club already boasting a talented four-man striking pool.
"Ronaldo? It's true that I gave him a few compliments a few days ago but our four forwards are already confirmed for next season," said Galliani.
"We already have [Marcio] Amoroso, [Alberto] Gilardino, [Filippo] Inzaghi and [Andrei] Shevchenko."
Galliani has also denied reports that Schalke's highly-rated midfielder Christian Poulsen has already signed a pre-contract agreement with Milan.
"Poulsen hasn't signed for Milan and, anyway, I repeat this isn't the moment to talk about these things," added Galliani.
In a day of denials, Galliani also believes it is highly unlikely that Lyon duo Cris and Mahamadou Diarra will sign for the club with the Rossoneri's UEFA Champions League rivals unlikely to give the green light to the moves.
"Lyon don't sell their best players and if they do then it will be for a lot of money so I don't think either Cris or Diarra will arrive," he added.
