In-form Rennes surprisingly crashed to a 2-1 defeat at Nice, while Lyon beat PSG.
Rennes' march towards a UEFA Champions League place was halted as they crashed to a surprising 2-1 defeat at Nice, while Lyon beat Paris Saint Germain.
Rennes have won eight consecutive games to take them to fourth in Ligue One, but they could not maintain their form against a mid-table Nice side who should have had little to play for.
On-loan Manchester United forward David Bellion did the early damage, firing Nice in front after just four minutes.
John Utaka levelled for Rennes on the stroke of half time, but Jacques Abardonado won the game for the home side in the last minute of the match.
In the day's other game, newly crowned champions Lyon celebrated their title with a 1-0 victory over Paris Saint Germain.
Fred scored the only goal of the game after 24 minutes, to extend Lyon's lead to a massive 17 points with only four games of the season remaining.
The result leaves PSG in eighth place, and all but ends their hopes of qualifying for Europe.
