Marseille suffered a surprise defeat at Nice, and Lyon extended their lead at the top.
Lyon extended their lead of Ligue 1 still further with victory over third-placed Nancy, as Marseille slipped to a late defeat at Nice.

The match appeared to be heading for a draw which would have done Marseille few favours in truth in their pursuit of Lyon, but bad soon became worse for Albert Emon's side - a 90th minute Honorato Ederson penalty seeing the hosts home and dry.
