Anigo has lost several players due to international commitments for the African Cup of Nations, and a subsequent injury crisis has left l'OM in dire straits.
Marseille have just 12 first-team players available - and the need to bring in players has left Anigo frantic.
"As it stands I don't have a little squad, but a tiny squad," said Anigo.
"On the bright side I won't have any grief from players who have been left out because they will all be playing!
"We need a forward or a winger and he must arrive before Thursday so he can be available to play against Paris Saint Germain on Saturday."
Daniel Moreira is the latest name to be mentioned in connection with the club, although Lens are also missing several African players and may be unwilling to part with the player.
In the meantime l'OM have indicated that they will hang on to Dmitri Sychev (pictured), and delay his return to Russia.
"He will be at Marseille until the end of the market," confirmed club chairman Christophe Bouchet.
"The case for his departure has yet to be settled.
"We will watch the situation and see if his departure is something we want to happen."
