Lens admits selling captain Seydou Keita is an option in the summer.
Lens admits selling Seydou Keita is an option in the summer, but only if a major team bid for the club's captain.
Keita has one season remaining on his contract and Lens are keen to resolve the futures of several of their players.
But Sang et Or chairman Gervais Martel concedes the skipper could be sold to a club like Premiership leaders Manchester United.
"Lens is a very big club in France and tomorrow, or the day after tomorrow, we will exploit our potential in Europe," Martel told the French media.
"Next week we will state the extensions of several players. Next season we will have a very nice team.
"Seydou Keita has one year remaining on his contract with Lens, but if a great club wants to hire him, we won't keep him.
"If he leaves for Manchester United we would be very happy for him."
Meanwhile, Martel is confident that Lens, who are currently third in Ligue 1, can qualify for next season's UEFA Champions League.
He added: "I don't imagine we could not qualify for the Champions League.
"I often talk with the players - their physical and mental levels are very good.
"We will play three times in front of our fans. I have a big trust."
