Paris St Germain sent out a daunting message to the rest of the Ligue 1 after a crushing 3-0 victory over third-placed Marseille, but it came at a price after Neymar was stretchered off injured.

The world's most expensive player produced a great piece of skill to tee up Edinson Cavani to score his 30th goal in 33 appearances for PSG to round off the scoring before the Brazilian rolled his ankle in the final quarter of the game and was in some discomfort as he was carried away by medical staff.

Rudi Garcia's men had been unbeaten in their last eight league matches, winning six of them ahead of their clash with the runaway leaders, but the visitors were dismantled as PSG extended their advantage at the summit of the table to 14 points over Monaco.

Kylian Mbappe opened the scoring after 10 minutes with his 15th goal of the season for club and country, a neat finish at the near post, before Marseille centre-back Rolando put through his own net to double the Parisians' lead and then Cavani scored 10 minutes after half-time.

St Etienne scored a dramatic last-minute equaliser to earn a 1-1 draw at Lyon and extend their unbeaten run to five Ligue 1 matches.

The visitors came into the match on the back of three wins and a draw to alleviate any threats of relegation but looked to be heading for defeat after Lyon striker Mariano Diaz's 16th goal of the season in the first half.

However, Mathieu Debuchy drilled in Remy Cabella's cutback to earn an unlikely point in the final minute of normal time and condemn Lyon to their fifth league match without victory.

Bruno Genesio's side still remain 11 points clear of fifth-placed Montpellier to consolidate their top-four position but their alarming slump in form may cause concern ahead of their upcoming Europa League last-16 tie with CSKA Moscow.

Bordeaux dominated in their clash with Nice but they were held to a goalless draw at Stade Matmut Atlantique.

The visitors failed to register a single shot on target as Bordeaux continued to carve open the Nice defence, with Nicolas de Preville and Gaetan Laborde each going close, but the hosts could not make the breakthrough.
