After giving up on the pursuit of Portuguese forward Nuno Gomes from Fiorentina, PSG coach Luis Fernandez turned to Aloisio following Les Verts' relegation to the French Second Division.
Christian (pictured) was to be used as part of the deal to bring Gomes to the Parc des Princes, but his decision to move to Bordeaux instead meant that Fernandez turned to Aloisio.
The 26-year-old signed a five-year contract with PSG for a fee of around 70 million francs (£6.4 million) and was delighted at the move.
"I am really happy to have signed," said Aloisio. "I have spoken to the club for 20 days and always wanted to come here rather than l'OM.
"PSG represent much more to me, I always dreamt of moving to the club. I have spoken to Ronaldinho on the phone several times and he said that I had made the right choice."
The capture of Aloisio could represent a risk for PSG however, as he could be banned from French football for using a false passport.
Christian, meanwhile, left the French capital to join Bordeaux for around 80 million francs.
Half of the fee will be paid to a communications company that owns half the rights to the player, who was happy to move to the Parc Lescure.
The 26-year-old Brazilian refused to be used as part of the Gomes deal and had always wanted to stay in France.
