The midfield playmaker has been on loan at Stade Velodrome from Bordeaux since the summer and has performed well for l'OM, both domestically and in Europe.
However, the club are always on the look-out for new talent and rumours are rife that Marseille will spend extravagantly during the close season.
"My aim is to play well here," he told L'Equipe.
"If I can stay, that is fine, but I belong to Les Girondins and I don't know where I will play next season."
