The French international is set to arrive in Barcelona on Thursday to conclude talks over a move to the Spanish outfit.
The 31-year-old is thought to be unhappy at Bordeaux's lack of ambition and is keen on a move away as he seeks a new challenge.
Rame has been offered a three-year deal at the Estadi Montjuic and reports suggest the move should be rubber-stamped soon.
Frederic Roux will step up from number two keeper to replace Rame as first choice for Bordeaux.
The club have also agreed a new deal with full back Frank Jurietti with the player extending his stay for another two years.
Meanwhile, Bordeaux have handed trials to Brazilian duo Thiago Ribeiro and Adonis.
The Rio Branco duo spent a spell at the club last winter and if they gain European passports they could win moves to Les Girondins.
