Bordeaux striker Maroune Chamakh wants to stay with Les Girondins
Bordeaux striker Marouane Chamakh has denied rumours of a move to Paris Saint Germain, claiming that he is in talks to extend his current contract a further two years.
The striker has made a great start to the season, and both Manchester United and Arsenal have been rumoured to be watching him closely.
However, it is PSG who have appeared most interested in securing the services of the 20-year-old Moroccan.
But, despite such interest, Chamakh scotched rumours of a winter move.
"I hear PSG are interested in me. That is nice, but I don't pay any attention to that," he told France Football.
"I am very happy at Bordeaux, on and off the pitch, so there is no chance I will leave in the coming months."
Chamakh said he was currently discussing a two-year extension to his contract with Les Girondins, claiming Bordeaux were the best French club for him.
"I can't see me wearing another French club shirt," he said.
He added: "In my mind, I am a Bordeaux player for two or three years. Then, it will be time to study a possible foreign club proposition."
