Veteran striker Lilian Laslandes is ready to demand Bordeaux release him on loan.Veteran striker Lilian Laslandes is ready to demand Bordeaux release him on loan for the second half of the season.
Laslandes has become frustrated with his plight at Bordeaux this season, with the bulk of his 15 appearances coming as a substitute.
He remains determined to honour his contract with Les Girondins, which runs until 2007, but he is also keen to be playing on a regular basis.
Marseille and Strasbourg have been linked with the 34-year-old already this season, while Ajaccio and Nice are chasing his signature.
The former Sunderland flop would be willing to join Ajaccio or Nice and is hoping for a move when the January transfer window opens.
"The trouble is my contract prolongation," Laslandes told L'Equipe magazine. "If this season I just play 10 minutes from time to time, I will lose the pace of matches.
"And in 2006 I will be 35-years-old, so I need to play.
"If I don't play enough, I will ask my officials to be loaned during the winter transfer window, to play regularly for six months somewhere else.
"So when I come back, I will be at the right level to fulfil my last year of my contract with Bordeaux.
"If I just stay in the changing room and train, I will stop.
"If I am loaned, I am attracted by Ajaccio and Nice. I need to feel emotion, defending a shirt and a town.
"For example, I won't go to Strasbourg even if it is a good club."
