Bordeaux are thought to be interested in Werder Bremen star Johan Micoud.
Bordeaux are set for a summer transfer spree as they prepare to do battle with Europe's elite in next season's UEFA Champions League.
Les Girondins need just three points to secure second spot in Ligue 1 and will use the money they earn from their European campaign to strengthen the squad.
Top of their list is Werder Bremen star Johan Micoud, who spent four seasons at the Stade Chaban-Delmas before moving to Parma in 2000.
The Frenchman's current deal with Bremen expires at the end of next season and a move back to France could be the last opportunity for the 33-year-old to earn himself a big contract.
Micoud has continually been linked with a move away from Germany in the summer, with PSG also interested in the playmaker.
Sporting Lisbon striker Leidson, who has scored 14 goals this term, and Auxerre midfielder Benoit Cheyrou, are also reportedly summer targets for Bordeaux.
Meanwhile, Rio Mavuba says he wants to stay with Les Girondins, although he is unsure as to whether the club want to keep him.
"Of course I would like to stay, I have a contract until 2009," he said.
"But I don't know if the club want me to stay here."
