Bordeaux striker Lilian Laslandes has questioned his team-mates' desire after reflecting on the club's poor start to the season.
Les Girondins are currently ninth in Ligue 1 and have taken just one point from their opening three UEFA Champions League fixtures.
As a result the French club have had to indulge in some soul searching and experienced striker Laslandes has now slammed the attitude of some of his colleagues at Stade Chaban-Delmas.
"We can all be worried, during our last defeat to Sochaux we showed good things and very bad ones," Laslandes told L'Equipe.
"I can't explain. There is just one word in my mind; desire.
"Only with desire can we achieve something.
"We had a good match against Monaco, then we were average against Liverpool and the next Saturday we did a no-match at Sochaux.
"Obviously we have to ask ourselves some questions.
"Everyone has to try to do something for the rest of the team. If we can't, the group is in danger.
"I can't see any ability to come back and change the situation so far. It is frustrating.
"I know we won't win everything now. But, at least, I would like us to find again some values: playing as a team, showing solidarity, making effort.
"Sometimes I can't understand some behaviour. There is no break inside the group, but there is not enough experience.
"The group is living well all together, we laugh, but nothing extraordinary. We miss some things, and I am not sure everyone has desire."
Laslandes also believes Bordeaux have no chance of reaching the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League after their slow start, with leaders Liverpool now six points ahead of them in Group C.
"The Champions League is over for us, we can only count on the Uefa Cup," Laslandes told But.
"We have to react in the Championship.
"I don't know if our group is capable of succeeding, the ambience between us could be stronger."
