Bordeaux will be without defender Franck Jurietti for their UEFA Champions League date with Liverpool.
Jurietti suffered an ankle injury playing for Les Girondins against Sedan at the weekend, and the veteran will not be in the party who fly out to Liverpool on Monday, ahead of Tuesday's match.
Stephane Dalmat is also out of the Anfield clash having suffered a thigh injury, so coach Ricardo has added Vladimir Smicer and Marc Planus to his squad, even though the duo, who are still recovering from injury, will only feature in an emergency.
One of the Ligue 1 side's chief threats to The Reds will be striker Jean-Claude Darcheville, but the Frenchman admits he is growing increasingly disillusioned by his treatment by a section of the club's fans, and is now resigning himself to leaving the club.
Despite being the club's top scorer this season, the 31-year-old has been singled out by some of his own supporters.
"I have always done my job, no-one can accuse me of not giving my all," Darcheville told L'Equipe.
"But giving my best is not enough. For three years I have worked hard to prove to people that I love the club.
"I know it comes from people inside the club, who have been talking behind my back.
"There is nothing to do except understand that my future is no longer here."
