Toulouse captain Dominique Arribage has outlined his retirement plans.
Toulouse captain Dominique Arribage will be 35-years-old at the end of the season and with 18 months left on his contract the veteran defender has outlined his retirement plans.
The former Rennes player is expected to join the Toulouse coaching staff when his contract expires and will work on developing youth talent for the club.
"My longevity is rare; I know that, I have been very lucky not to suffer any grave injuries," Arribage said.
"I have enjoyed my life, I have not lived like a monk, I am still a teenager in my mind and I enjoy every moment on the pitch and in training."
He added: "My contract ends in 18 months, a lot of people are scared about that but I am not, I am sure I will be part of the Toulouse staff."
Arribage goes on to criticise the world of football today, which has changed tremendously since he started playing 20 years ago.
"Footballers today spend their time complaining, I am here to tell those who complain that they are privileged, our misfortunes are ridiculous.
"When a young player sits on the bench he immediately asks his agent to find him another club, it is reality, but I am not like that."
