Gregory Pujol has revealed he is enjoying his football again after returning to France with Sedan.
The striker spent last season with Anderlecht, but linked up with Sedan in the summer and has scored twice in 11 appearances.
Though he was only a fringe member of the Anderlecht side, the 26-year-old feels his career has benefited from his time in Belgium, but is happy to be featuring regularly.
"I didn't play a lot for Anderlecht, but I have progressed," Pujol told Ouest-France.
"The coach didn't trust me and didn't allow me to play often. At the end, he has been forced to make me play a little.
"I just want to remember my hat-trick against Westerlo, our league title and the party after our last match, and of course the Champions League. I have had the chance to play at Chelsea
"I have matured physically and mentally. Belgium has helped me to be stronger and harder.
"Last summer, Nantes didn't want me to come back and Sedan, Valenciennes and Anderlecht wanted to sign me. I think I took the right direction.
"Sedan are growing, capable of staying in Ligue 1. The region is fantastic and the country reminds me of my roots."
Meanwhile, Sedan are aiming to sign Toulouse midfielder Nabil Taider as 'a joker' following an injury to Stephane Noro.
Taider has been training with Sedan and talks have taken place between the two clubs with a view to either a loan or permanent arrangement before the transfer window reopens.
