Clement Chantome has committed his future to Paris St Germain by penning an extension to his current contract.
The highly-rated midfielder will now remain with the Ligue 1 giants until at least 2015.
The 23-year-old has been rewarded with fresh terms following a number of eye-catching displays this season.
He becomes the second academy graduate to pen a new deal, with Mamadou Sakho having also been tied down on a long-term agreement.
PSG chairman Robin Leproux is delighted to see that the club still holds an appeal to its young stars and is tipping Chantome to flourish in the French capital.
"It was very important that we struck a deal because Clement is a player who has been educated by the club," he told the club's official website.
"He has improved a lot this season and has reached a new level.
"We know he has massive potential. He can become an iconic player at PSG. This is his club."
Meanwhile, PSG coach Antoine Kombouare has hailed the response of Brazilian playmaker Nene to his recent dip in form.
"He is a fantastic man," he told L'Equipe.
"There are some players that when they go onto the pitch they believe they can solve any problems and be the saviour.
"He reminds me a lot of David Ginola. They are lovable guys, but sometimes you have to remind them of their role."
